Within a geographic service area, a Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) is responsible for finding loving foster homes for children in state care and providing them with a full continuum of care services. SJRC Texas | Belong is the dedicated nonprofit provider for CBC in Bexar County and the South Central and Hill Country Region.

Belong is committed to delivering a community-based foster care model that serves youth and families across 28 Texas counties, speeding up the process of finding permanency and prioritizing the well-being of children and families. While DFPS is responsible for investigations and removals, Belong steps in to provide safe, nurturing homes, kinship and reunification support, and adoption services.
