Foster Care and Adoption
Our Foster Care and Adoption Program licenses and trains families to open their homes and hearts to children ready to live in a family setting, both through short-term foster care and forever adoption. We are creating forever families!

Touchstone Program
Touchstone is a short-term stabilization and assessment program utilizing Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), located on the SJRC Texas Bulverde Campus. The goal of the program is to help youth develop calming strategies that will address their fight/flight/freeze responses.

Parenting and Prevention Program
Parents as Teachers (PAT) provides the information, support, and resources families need to help their children develop during the crucial early years of life.

TBRI Our Model Care
TBRI was developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross at the Child Development Institute at Texas Christian University. TBRI is a holistic intervention that meets the needs of the whole child. It is an approach to caregiving that is developmentally respectful, responsive to trauma, and is attachment-based. TBRI purports three principles are the foundation for working with kids from hard places – Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting.

Community-Based Foster Care Services
Belong, a division of SJRC Texas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, serves as the lead provider for Community-Based Care in the Hill Country & South Central Texas area covering 27 Texas counties. Our vision is for abused and neglected children to be empowered to grow up to be happy, productive, and caring adults.

Training
Our Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI) Trainers will help your staff, school districts, teachers, ministry, families or organizations grow in their understanding of trauma and dealing with children from hard backgrounds. Training is offered in person.

USDA Child Nutrition Program
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day.
